Job Description:

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting to fill a full-time breast imaging radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or Professor. This is a non-tenure track position with primary assignments at UF Health in Gainesville. There is flexibility with the work schedule including a 4 or 5 day work week, with no call or weekend responsibilities. Options are also available for additional earning potential with volunteer shift and weekend work with the body division. Full benefits apply with health, disability and life insurance, malpractice insurance and sovereign immunity in the State of Florida.'

Clinical responsibilities include patient care, teaching of house staff and medical students, and leading interdisciplinary conferences. A commitment to education is desired, as the University of Florida has a large training program with residents and students rotating in mammography daily. The department offers resources and support for research and innovative education opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

Requirements include MD or equivalent with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Radiology. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Current fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Expertise in all aspects of breast imaging, including digital tomosynthesis interpretation, ultrasound, and MRI is required. The ability to perform image-guided procedures using tomosynthesis, stereo, ultrasound and MRI is also required. Completion of a mammography fellowship is required.
