Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties:
One-year term position teaching three courses per semester in the School of Art & Design Digital Cinema Program. Utilizing class critiques and lectures to teach visual decision-making that conveys and supports a concept. This is a campus-based position.

Required Minimum Work Experience:
Previous university/college teaching experience, which could include graduate teaching assistantships. Experience assessing student learning outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Ability to prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
Ability to utilize class critiques and lectures to teach visual decision-making that conveys and supports a concept.
Knowledge to incorporate historical and contemporary film theory into coursework.
Production experience utilizing a digital workflow that includes Final Cut and/or Adobe Premiere software, editing, cinematography, lighting, and sound.
An understanding of cinematography, editing approaches, and short-form production experience.
Ability to teach at undergraduate level.
Ability to work with others.
Effective oral and written communication.

Familiarity with Apple Computer Platforms
