The position requires teaching 12 credit hours per semester in the undergraduate Public Health degree program. Some evening or online teaching may be required. Five office hours are required each week. In addition, the faculty is required to engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the University and Community.

Position Summary Information

Position Summary
Teaching, scholarly activity, and service are required of all faculty. This position would require teaching a variety of undergraduate Public Health courses. Additional responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, student advisement, advising interns, working with the student organization; participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the undergraduate program curriculum according to the Council on Education for Public Health ( CEPH ) accreditation guidelines; and representing the program at professional functions. Minimum Qualifications
A doctoral degree in Public Health or a related field by August 2022 is required.
Strong background in data analysis, biostatistics, and epidemiology is required.
Experience in a Public Health setting
Ability to work with Public Health data
Commitment to the education of diverse populations
Successful performance in an on campus interview, including a teaching demonstration is required. Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary teaching experience
Research experience
Record of publications
Broad-based knowledge in Public Health
Grant writing experience
Online teaching experience
Clinical experience
