Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Psychology faculty position in the Department of Psychological Science. This position begins August 1, 2022.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Teach a standard teaching load of 27 credit hours per academic year
  • Teach a variety of undergraduate psychology courses and service to the department, college, and/or university
  • Teach a multimodal mix of face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online courses in psychology at our two instructional sites (Kennesaw and Marietta). Courses taught will be based on candidate’s areas of expertise and program demand
  • Demonstrate teaching flexibility in times, days, and modalities of courses
  • Hold office hours
  • Attend department meetings
  • Engage in service to the department, college, and/or university
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of strong teaching. 

 

A Master's in psychology, or its foreign equivalent, or a closely related field is required, as is a record of effective university teaching.

 

Preferred Qualifications Include

  • PhD in psychology, or its foreign equivalent, or a closely related field
  • Experience teaching undergraduate courses in psychology, both in person and online
  • Record of teaching effectiveness in undergraduate psychology classes
