Position Responsibilities:
Physics Post Doctoral candidate to conduct research on thermal superinsulating
materials, with particular emphasis on optimization of synthesis and drying
of organic aerogels.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Chemistry or Applied Physics.
Knowledge of materials synthesis and characterization techniques, with an
emphasis on electron microscopies and X-ray scattering.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated working knowledge of Transmission- and Scanning- electron
microscopy.
Demonstrated working knowledge of X-Ray scattering techniques, including
SAXS.
Salary Range: $50,000
