The Division of Social Science at New York University (NYU) Abu
Dhabi is searching for visiting faculty to educate the
next generation of global leaders.
You are invited to apply for a Visiting
Lecturer/Professor (open rank) for the program in Social Research
and Public Policy, for appointment on September 1, 2022, subject to
final budget approval. Applicants who can contribute to teaching
Introduction to the Study of Society, Introduction to Statistics,
or Social Theory will be prioritized, but those who can contribute
to the intellectual life of the department and teach other needed
courses will also be considered. The appointment will be for a
period of one year and is potentially renewable for up to three
years.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Sociology or a related discipline.
We seek individuals who have a strong record of scholarship, teaching, and mentoring, and seek to maintain an active research portfolio.
