CWU seeks a dynamic and collaborative individual to provide innovative leadership for the college, integrating the twin pillars of Education and Professional Studies. As the chief academic and fiscal officer of the college, you will enhance student success by continually improving curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs at CWU. Through ten departments (Aerospace Studies; Aviation; Curriculum, Supervision and Educational Leadership; Education, Development Teaching and Learning; Engineering, Technologies, Safety and Construction; Family and Consumer Sciences; Health Science; Information Technology and Administrative Management; Military Sciences; and Sport and Movement Studies), the college delivers courses on the residential campus in Ellensburg, Washington, and is increasing participation in a rapidly growing online environment and at eight instructional locations/centers throughout the state.

As an academic leader, the dean helps to create strategies that enable the college and the university to adapt to and thrive amidst rapid change—academic, political, and fiscal. The college and university have invested substantially in fundraising and development.  The Dean will be significantly engaged in fundraising and external development as the university takes steps toward launching a capital campaign.
