Adjunct Faculty - Economics, School of Business

The Department of Economics in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of applicants for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters for adjunct teaching positions. Should the need and the funding for adjunct teaching positions arise, the Department of Economics will contact applicants in the pool whose credentials match our teaching needs. This pool will be accessed only when an opening arises.

Your credentials will remain active until June 30, 2022 at which point this posting will be closed. If you are still interested in adjunct teaching, you must re-apply to a new adjunct posting after July 1, 2022.

Note: we are unable to hire applicants who have not applied and are not in the pool.

Responsibilities:
1. Teaching
Teach courses as needed. These classes could be inclusive of all areas within the discipline

Required Qualifications:
A masters degree in Economics

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Economics
Prior teaching experience
