Description:
The School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Pratt is seeking a technically competent, detailed oriented part time Operations Assistant who will perform general data entry/ clerical duties in support of the operations process for the school. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the smooth flow of daily office activities and perform reception duties as required, including responding to general phone and email inquiries which may require follow-up. The Operations Assistant should demonstrate strong organizational, decision-making and communication skills.

This will be a remote position; however, will be expected to be onsite at Pratt Manhattan beginning in summer 2022.

On a typical day you will be required to:
  • Implement and perform data entry processes and operations
  • Support the administrative needs of the office including respond to general phone and email inquiries which may require collaborated follow-up
  • Enter and retrieve data from the school's registration systems (Colleague and Enrole)
  • Communicate with students and instructors in a clear and effective manner


This is an OPEIU Local 153 Clerical part-time position, salary is $32,500 based on 25 hours per week.


Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma. BA degree a plus.

Experience: Quality customer service skills required. Must have experience performing data entry; knowledge of both Datatel/Colleague and Enrole a plus. Must have at least 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Skill: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, etc.), Google suite (Gmail, calendar, drive forms, meet, etc.). Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
