Location: Brooklyn, NY

Description:
Pratt Center for Community Development is searching for a Program Manager who will be responsible for overseeing research and implementation of policy projects that advance housing justice initiatives. The successful candidate will organize programs and activities in accordance with Pratt Center's strategic goals and manage the development an evaluation method to assess the program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

If you have at least three years of experience working on integrated policy advocacy campaigns, have experience in building and maintaining partnerships across a diverse range of stakeholders, with a focus on community-based organizations, and can demonstrate your ability to prioritize and successfully carry out multiple assignments simultaneously, then this could be the next opportunity for you!

On a typical day you will be required to:
  • Conduct research in support of policy priorities, and support the design of community outreach and engagement strategies
  • Managing partner and stakeholder relationships, and partnering with team members to explore new areas of work
  • Support development team in drafting program funding proposals


Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in urban planning, public policy, or other relevant field highly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of relevant experience also acceptable.

Experience: 3-5 years’ experience working on integrated policy advocacy campaigns.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience using online project management platforms such as asana, airtable salesforce, and competency and comfort working in cloud based applications.
  • Understanding of project management best practices and capacity to apply them consistently across all tasks and projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience managing interns and staff preferred.


This position is funded by multiple grants for up to 24 months and is subject to available funding.
