Assistant Professor in Nursing, beginning Fall 2022 (Tenure-Stream)

 

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a full-time assistant professor of Nursing in the Division of Biological & Health Sciences beginning Fall 2022.    

Requirements: DNP or PhD in Nursing (or ABD by September 1, 2022) with at least one years’ nursing experience and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.  Candidates must have current RN licensure or be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (dual licensure in New York State preferred), possess appropriate clearances and BLS certification or be able to obtain these prior to the start of employment.  Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred. 

 

Responsibilities:  Applicants must be able to teach 12 credits per semester in nursing at the undergraduate level.  Preferred courses include ASN didactic, lab and clinical instruction and/or RN-BSN didactic instruction.  Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.  Candidates experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
