Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Information Technology in the Department of Information Technology, beginning August 1, 2022.  


Responsibilities Include

  • Teaching expectations include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in Information Technology.  Generally, 80% of workload.                         
  • Service to the Department/College/University/professional community is expected. Generally, 10% of workload.
  • Scholarship/Research activities are expected.  Generally, 10% of workload.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Participating in program development activities
  • Working with diverse communities
  • Working collegially with colleagues


An earned Doctorate, or a foreign equivalent, in a computing discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, etc., is required.


Preferred Qualifications Include

  • College teaching experience
  • Experience in teaching on-line or hybrid courses
  • Experience working with diverse communities
