Job Description or Duties

Primary responsibility for managing all undergraduate recruitment activities for first-time freshmen, all on- and off-campus enrollment events as well as maintaining knowledge of admission processing and functionalities. Manages the recruitment funnel including the implementation of overall communication, marketing, and multimedia/technology strategies. Supports the creation and collaboration, and implements the university’s undergraduate recruitment plan. Plans and leads New Student Enrollment. This position supervises assistant director for events and outreach, the admissions counselors and related student staff. Occasional travel is required. This position serves as Director in their absence and is a member of the office’s senior leadership team.

Utilize the student information system (PeopleSoft) and customer relationship management (Salesforce) to analyze and compile data, observe and predict trends, and implement and adjust recruitment strategies.

  • Manages the recruitment funnel including the implementation of overall communication, marketing, multimedia and technology strategies.
  • Hire, train, and supervise admissions counselors, the assistant director for events and outreach, and related student staff, including travel oversight and budget management.
  • Serves as the Office of Admissions dual enrollment manager fostering current relationships with school administrators and identifying strategies for growth.
  • Supports the creation and collaboration, and implements the university’s undergraduate recruitment plan.
  • Leads planning and execution of New Student Enrollment activities.

 

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree, 3 years of admissions/recruitment experience, supervisory experience, knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and student information systems (SIS); experience with data management, reporting and assessment. Occasional evening and weekend work, and travel is required. Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce/TargetX. Experience with PeopleSoft and with Tableau (or other data visualization solution).
