The Department of Data Analytics and the Department of Computational Economics at Clover University invite applications from outstanding teachers/scholars/practitioners for several open-rank Adjunct Professor positions in the fields of Data Analytics and Economics for the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter 2022. The successful candidate will teach at the graduate level in the Master of Science in Data Analytics or Master of Science in Computational Economics program. We are seeking caring and engaged faculty that are committed to provide students with the attention needed to foster creativity, independent and critical thinking, as well as high ethical values.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Data Analytics

Part-Time Faculty (Online Teaching)

The successful candidate will join a new and innovative institution of higher education and teach in the Master of Science in Data Analytics. The successful candidate will be able to teach one or more of the following courses:

• Foundations of Data Analytics
• Big Data 1
• Statistical Applications and Visualization
• Big Data 2
• Predictive Analysis

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellence in teaching and learning
• Fostering student learning and development
• Staying current in your profession

QUALIFICATIONS:

• D. preferred. Alternatively, a Master degree in a relevant field and substantial professional experience.
• Relevant fields include: Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or related.
• Experience in industry utilizing DA technologies AND/OR teaching experience in Data Analytics.
• Proficiency with DATA ANALYTICS TOOLS and SOFTWARE such as SAS, R, Python, and SQL.
• Ability to demonstrate the link between theory and real-world applications.
• Team player
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom for students from different backgrounds and in different age groups
• Willingness to cooperate with colleagues
• Ability to respond swiftly to student inquiries or complaints and coordinate with the Department Chairperson.
• Experience with online teaching and learning is preferred
• Knowledge of the energy industry for specific applications is a plus.

Part-Time Faculty (Online Teaching)

The Department of Computational Economics is currently seeking Part-Time Faculty to teach in its M.S. in Applied Computational Economics (Macroeconomic Theory and Applications, Microeconomic Theory and Applications, Econometrics, Public Finance, International Economics). The department is seeking faculty that show excellence in teaching, are engaged and committed to provide students with the attention needed to succeed. The successful candidate will be able to teach one or more of the following courses:

- Macroeconomic Theory and Applications

- Microeconomic Theory and Applications

- Econometrics

- Public Finance

- International Economics
