West Virginia University Potomac State College is currently accepting applications for Title III Program Director. As a Title III Director, you will dedicate 100% of your time providing guidance and leadership in all aspects of the Title III initiative.

What you'll do:
  • Coordinate activities between administrators and responsible staff members, communicate progress to all levels, and be responsible for reporting and evaluation requirements.
  • Provide fiscal oversight for the initiative, monitoring the grant budget and expenditures and maintaining programmatic and financial grant records.
  • Act as spokesperson for the initiative and supervise day-to-day activities, including setting timetables and adjusting for unexpected changes, ensuring the project conforms to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Reporting directly to the TC, the AD will direct project personnel and manage and monitor the implementation of project tasks and will meet regularly with project personnel and serve on the Title III Steering Committee.
  • Collaborate with the External Evaluator to design data collection processes for project evaluation and conduct internal evaluation of completion of project tasks and achievement of grant objectives.
  • Prepares progress reports for the Title III Coordinator and communicates Title III progress college-wide via a newsletter and website.
Qualifications :

Master’s degree in higher education administration or related area OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of 2 years of experience:
  • Successfully designing, managing, or implementing a Title III or similar project
  • Professionally working with economically disadvantaged students in a college setting
  • Knowledge and training in fields related to project objectives
  • Knowledge of college organization, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of supervisory techniques, budgetary matters, federal regulations, procedures of the U.S. Department of Education
  • Knowledge of hiring procedures, training, and evaluation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds
