Job Summary

Two Positions Available!

The individuals selected for these positions will assist with basic level farm type tasks at the Charles Milles Poultry Research & Educational Center.

Essential Functions

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Operating, repairing, and maintaining various research, food processing, and farm-type equipment; conducting poultry husbandry practices to ensure compliance with animal welfare standards, research protocols, and other defined criteria; performing and recording routine measurements, making calculations or observations; repairing and maintaining animal (production) support and processing facilities related to research and teaching; and performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Tech II: High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in farming practices

Tech III : High school diploma or equivalent plus four years of experience in farming practices.

Tech IV: High school diploma or equivalent plus six years of experience in farming practices .

Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed.
