Position Summary
This position provides administrative support for the day-to-day and long-range operations of the Advancement Services and Stewardship and Annual Giving departments, including data reporting and analytics, data integrity, gift processing, calendaring, budget management support, prospect research, and support for donor relations and engagement. The Operations Analyst must be very organized with attention to detail and have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others and promote collaboration and communication within the division. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Advancement Services, Stewardship, and Planned Giving.
FLSA: Exempt
CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,897 - $7,051 per month
Hiring Range: $3,897 - $4,500 per month
Salary Grade/Range: 2

Pay Plan: 12 months
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (other hours as required).
Department Information
Advancement Services and Stewardship is instrumental to Sacramento State's ability to achieve its outreach, fundraising, event, and stewardship goals. We manage information to better support engagement and fundraising efforts with alumni, faculty and staff, friends, and the community. Our team manages, analyzes, and leverages the data needed to inform organizational strategy through prospect research and management. We are responsible for processing, recording, and acknowledging all philanthropic gifts and for thanking and celebrating the commitments that donors make to Sacramento State.
Minimum Qualifications
Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the higher education environment, particularly in the areas of advancement services and annual giving
- Experience in gift processing or similar field
- Ability to use query tools such as Brio and Cognos
- Experience with project management systems
- Experience with AdobeSign, OnBase, and/or other tools
- Experience in using PeopleSoft/CFS/FDW Finance and CMS Human Resource applications
- Event/Program administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Required Licenses/Certifications
Valid driver's license and maintenance of safe driving record.
