Associate or Full Professor - ECE - 20/21 University of California, San Diego, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) invites applications for multiple tenured faculty positions at the Associate or Full Professor rank in our dynamic and rapidly growing department. The department is looking for exceptional candidates in all areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

The ECE Department is committed to building an excellent, diverse and inclusive faculty, staff and student body. ECE is home to over 65 faculty and 950 graduate students who span a range of research areas in electrical engineering and computer engineering. Faculty in the department benefit from the presence of numerous major research centers, including the Center for Wireless Communications (CWC), the Qualcomm Institute (QI), the Center for Machine Integrated Computing & Security (MICS), the Center for Wearable Sensors (CWS), the Center for Information Theory and Applications (ITA), the Center for Memory Recording Research (CMRR), the Center for Networked Systems (CNS), and the Contextual Robotics Institute (CRI), which provide unique opportunities and resources. Faculty also benefit from the presence of the Jacobs School's leadership in fostering interdisciplinary basic research and collaborations with industry.
