The Advancement Services Assistant is a part-time position that
assists the Office of Advancement in maintaining biographical data
of alumni, parents, corporations and friends of the University in
the Advancement CRM data system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research constituent addresses and phone numbers and update
changes in the University database on an on-going basis.
- Assist with biographical updates including deaths, marriages
- Organize returned mail and update constituent records with new
address information. Facilitate re-mailing of materials, as

special data maintenance and coding projects.
- Serve as point of contact for the Office of Advancement in the
identification and resolution of duplicate records in the
Advancement CRM data system.
- Manage the creation of parent records for freshman and transfer
students to include relevant personal data and coding for donor
- Act as backup to the Gift and Donor Records Officer for daily

LICENSES, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
Valid driver's license required
A high school diploma or GED is required. College degree preferred.
Two years' experience in an office environment required, preferably
in a development/research field. Knowledge of MS Windows required.
Database knowledge and experience required. Strong interpersonal
skills required. Must be able to work independently as well as in a
team environment. Attention to detail a must.
