Randolph-Macon College invites applications for an Assistant Director of Residence Life.  This position is responsible for managing all residence halls, special interest houses, and apartments, housing approximately 1200 students.  The Assistant Director will facilitate educational experiences out-of-classroom through student development programs for residential students and coordinate the RA selection process.  The Assistant Director also works within the Office of Student Conduct as a key student affairs generalist. This position has live-in responsibilities and requires an extensive knowledge of college programs, policies, and procedures. 

 

Applicant must have well-developed communication skills, including the ability to work independently and adjust rapidly in an environment with frequent interruptions, unexpected deadlines, in a calm, well-organized manner.  Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Student Personnel or related field.  Prior experience working with college students, preferred.
