The OPSU Presidential Search Committee and Board of Regents
invite nominations and applications for the position of President
of Oklahoma Panhandle State University. The President is the
Chief Executive Officer of the University and is responsible for
providing leadership to and assuring the effective administration
of a four-year institution in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
Founded in 1909, OPSU provides higher education opportunities
primarily for people of the Oklahoma Panhandle and surrounding
areas. It offers a comprehensive range of academic programs,
research, and public service activities in its College of
Agriculture, Science, and Nursing; College of Arts and Education;
College of Business and Technology; and College of Online
Learning. The University has a total enrollment of
approximately 1,600 students.
