Position Purpose

The Director of Institutional Research and Decision Support is responsible for conducting research and studies on The Evergreen State College, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and stewardship.  The Director plays a leadership role in creating a culture of evidence and data supported decision making throughout the college. The Director deploys data visualization and analytics to support student success, learning outcomes assessment, inclusive excellence, and advancement functions at the College. In particular, the Director works in collaboration with members of the Academic Affairs leadership team to support strategic planning and decision-making.  This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the College’s federal and state reporting requirements and for working closely with College leaders to elevate the data story of Evergreen.

 

This is a full-time, overtime-exempt position at the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.

 

Salary and Benefits: $7,837 – $8,423 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
