Summary:
The Division of Administration seeks dynamic, purpose-driven candidates for the Program Manager for Organizational Inclusivity and Excellence. In collaboration with VCU HR, this position will partner with division leaders to drive organizational effectiveness efforts and activities within the Division of Administration that strengthen workplace culture and foster an inclusive, diverse and equitable environment.
Typical Duties:
Responsibilities include:
- In collaboration with VCU HR and Institutional Equity, Effectiveness and Success (IEES), participate in the development, implementation and administration of the curricula and programs that support equity, engagement, and inclusion in the Division of Administration.
- Serve as the central collaboration point between the HR Professionals and leadership to ensure strategic HR goals and initiatives are clearly communicated and consistently implemented across the division.
- In consultation with VCU HR, design and deliver programming in the areas of organization design, leadership development, team effectiveness, and change management.
- Design and lead the division’s employee engagement and recognition programming and events.
- In coordination with the division’s data analytics team and VCU HR, support the collection and analysis of key performance indicators and DEI metrics for data-driven decision making and program development. Collect data using surveys, feedback from university constituents and other methods deemed appropriate to evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
- Develop outreach strategies for building relationships with community partners.
- Develop and implement goals and strategies for the utilization of SWAM vendors across the division.

- Strong relationship management ability
- Appreciation for data and evaluation processes
- Bachelor's degree with three to five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in human resources, organizational development, training
- Demonstrated knowledge of leadership models, organizational
development and performance management
Demonstrated program design/evaluation and project management experience - Clear understanding of the role diversity, equity, inclusion play in leadership development
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
- 3-5 years of related work experience in Higher Education that has included program planning, evaluation, and reporting with emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Working knowledge of Banner HR systems and of Virginia state and university HR policies and procedures.
- Commitment to and documented experience successfully implementing initiatives that increase equity and inclusion within a community
- Demonstrated goal measurement, coaching and team development, problem solving/issue resolution, collaboration, and leadership skills
