Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 509195), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with solid hands-on experience in molecular and cellular biology of cancer and animal work. They should have a good command of written and spoken English; a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational skills; and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Experience in biomechanics, single cell biology or live cell imaging would be an advantage. The appointee will participate in research projects related to cancer cell signaling, tumor immunology, and drug discovery.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
