Description:
The Core Data Systems team within Pratt IT is seeking a Systems Analyst with proven technical skills and experience successfully supporting, maintaining, and configuring systems. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for our Student Information System (Colleague), user and daily systems maintenance, along with similar support functions within Salesforce, DocuWare and other Peripheral systems. They will be the first line of support for users when requests are escalated to our department. They will be involved in testing, technical documentation, training, and support.

The Systems Analyst will work with their team along with cyber security to implement and maintain appropriate security of these systems. They will be responsible for customization and configuration changes to Colleague, along with the other systems as they develop their skill set. Experience in IT-support, database (SQL & UniData) queries and DataViz would be an added advantage in this position.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable managing and prioritizing your own work, being dynamic to the ever-changing needs of the community, and delivering in a timely manner. Great communication skills are essential to this role as you support end users, collaborate with the team, plan, and problem solve.

On a typical day you will be required to:
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks
  • Provide support to end-users of the many automations, workflows, tools and applications the department is responsible for
  • Work on planned systems maintenance, customization and configuration
  • Join the team in tackling problems presented to us, sprint planning, weekly project reviews and more
  • Take time out to learn new skills, test solutions, test systems and technically document your work


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Experience: Information Technology experience preferred.

Required Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to use independent judgement and discretion and must be able to work under pressure with high attention to detail. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague application, Microsoft SQL, UNIX is preferred.
