The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a full time 12-month Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor in Respiratory Therapy. To be qualify for the Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor position the candidate must have a Masters’ Degree. A Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care and a valid Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure are required. Experience as a respiratory therapy practitioner in a clinical setting and/or critical care experience within a hospital and/or skilled nursing facility is required. Teaching experience in an academic or clinical setting is required.
 
Responsibilities include: curriculum/course education development, teaching courses in the BSRT program, working with our clinical setting partners, engaging in scholarship activities (e.g., peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations) related to the discipline; engaging in service activities at the university, professional and community levels; participation at the national and state level in professional organizations and activities; contribution to community well-being through service related to professional and other expertise, and supporting the mission of the College of Nursing and Health Professions. 
 
Position starts July 1, 2022. 
 
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
