Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor of Nursing Wellstar School of Nursing
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a twelve-month, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor of Nursing faculty position in the Wellstar School of
Nursing beginning July 1, 2022. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities Include
- Provide leadership and operational support for the ongoing commitment to high quality part-time clinical faculty within the school
- Operationally support the onboarding and evaluation of part-time clinical faculty
- Participate in ongoing curricular assessment, scholarly activities, and service in departmental, college, and university committees
- Recruitment expectations
- Dissertation/thesis supervision
- Student teaching/clinical supervision
- Advising
- Work with a diverse community
Required Qualifications Include
- An earned doctoral degree, or the foreign equivalent. in nursing or a related field. Candidates who did not complete a BSN to DNP or PhD degree, must possess a master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in nursing or a related field. BSN to DNP or PhD graduates are not required to hold a master’s degree.
- Candidates should have a clinical background in adult health, community health, or psychiatric/mental health. Faculty must have the ability to work collaboratively with
