The University of Southern Indiana Social Work Department seeks

addiction studies.
The Social Work Department at USI has a combined program
offering a BSW in generalist practice and
an MSW with a clinical
concentration. CSWE recently reaccredited both programs
through 2027. The Department is located in the College of Liberal
Arts. It houses the Center for Social Justice Education, which
fosters advocacy for social justice and empowerment through
education, research, and collaboration. Faculty members within the
Department are strongly collegial, committed to teaching
excellence, scholarship, and service. USI is a Carnegie
Foundation Community Engaged university.
A doctorate in social work (or related field) from a nationally
accredited institution of higher education is preferred, but ABDs
for a doctorate in Social Work (or related field) will be
considered if near completion. Candidates must have
an MSW from a CSWE accredited program and a
minimum of two years post MSW direct practice experience.
Applicants who possess the knowledge and expertise in online
