Qualifications and Experience
Ph.D. from an accredited university with appropriate academic and administrative experiences. Knowledge of higher education policy trends. Demonstrated experience in initiating and implementing academic programs. A record of attracting external funding. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Job Description
o Work with the President as a member of the senior administration
o Lead the implementation of the relevant goals in the College's Strategic Plan (e.g. Faculty Capacity, Student Engagement)
o Monitor faculty recruitment, development and evaluation
o Oversee all academic units that report to the Office of Academic Affairs
o Coordinate the planning, development, coordination, review, and administration of all educational programs
o Supervise Academic Directors
o Manage the budget in instructional and academic support services
o Uphold academic standards set by national, state, regional, and professional accrediting bodies
o Function as necessary, in the absence of the President
