The University of Southern Indiana, Teacher Education Department invites applications for the position of renewable Clinical Assistant Professor or tenure track Assistant Professor of Education beginning August 2022. 

Minimum qualifications include: 1) doctoral degree in Administrative Leadership or closely related field; ABD considered with conferral of a doctoral degree before employment start date, 2) a minimum of 3-years, full time teaching experience at the K-12 level, and 3) administrative experience at the building or the district level.

Include details in the letter of application, list in curriculum vitae, and attach license if any of the following pertain to you: 1) Superintendent licensure as well as experience serving as a Superintendent; 2) experience teaching in higher education; and 3) experience serving on dissertation committees or chairing dissertations.

Responsibilities include: Teaching graduate courses in the Master of Science in Education Degree program and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program; service on dissertation committees as well as chair dissertations; advising graduate students; contributions to accreditation efforts; engaging in service-related activities including participation in departmental, college, and university meetings and committees and professional organizations; and, initiating and collaborating in research and grant activities leading to scholarly presentations and publications. Opportunities to participate in undergraduate programs are possible.
