The Emporia State University Student Wellness Center is seeking individuals with excellent clinical and outreach skills for the positions of Counselor and Counselor/Case Manager in Counseling Services. These positions provide diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders to college students. Additionally, the counselor provides and implements campus outreach programming, and the case manager provides direct case management to a small group of students to promote academic success. These positions are 20 hour per week, 10-months of the year.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or psychology. One year post graduate experience in diagnosing and treating mental disorders is preferred. Must be licensed, as an LPC, LMSW, LMLP, or LMFT with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative skills, and the willingness to adapt and respond to the changing needs of college students are essential.
