Facilities Information Technology Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direct supervision of the Director, Finance and Administration, the IT Coordinator works independently and collaboratively to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:  Maintain the integrity of all Facilities database by modifying, adding, correcting and auditing records. Institute protocols for the use of IT across FCS departments and projects. Monitor department systems and organize maintenance activities. Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration. Maintain proper documentation of all Facilities database and software implementation, process flows, security access and upgrades of such databases. Track and maintain licenses and upgrade schedules. Write and generate system reports. Create statistical data for system dashboard(s). Provide training for user applications, systems and networks. Install and configure software and hardware, including iPads, area printers, etc. Maintain department website. Create PDF forms and maintenance manuals. Provide software and user support for various department applications such as TMA, ARC, Box, Shiftboard, EATEC, Grubhub, Transact, Office, etc. Support departmental projects related to information technology. Act as Project Lead in system and process implementations. Maintain FCS equipment inventory across various applications. Coordinate with FCS staff to maintain space planning data. Provide support for technical issues related to computers, printers and mobile devices. Facilitate the interaction between end users and higher-level support. Provide administrative and clerical support as needed. Provide backup support for front office staff. Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Education: Bachelors degree (Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred)
  • Licenses/Certificates: Must take and successfully pass a functional capacity test after job offer and prior to hire. A valid driver’s license is essential to drive College-owned vehicles.
  • Experience: 2+ years’s experience of working as a IT coordinator or other relevant position. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft and iOS applications and services. Knowledge of facilities management systems, menu management systems, ERP systems, emergency response systems, Point of Sale (POS) systems, scheduling softwares such as TMA, EATEC, WorkDay, Transact, Grubhub, Shiftboard, Tableau, Smartsheet and SQL product applications is preferred but not required

REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.  Holiday, weekend and evening work hours will be required.  Travel may be required.  Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division.  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:  Regular, full-time, non-exempt.  Starting pay rate: $23.57 per hour.
