Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator, Digital Engagement and Website Development reports to the Senior Associate Director, Digital and Social Engagement, and plays an integral role in executing on digital media communications for the promotion of Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) and Annual Giving programs and initiatives, as well as supporting university campaigns. This position will assist in executing on OAR's digital strategy for outreach to over 275,000 alumni around the globe with a focus on email marketing and website development. The role will require coordination with internal teams, the ability to update and manage the OAR website, and attention to detail. The Coordinator will play a key role in helping the OAR Marketing and Communications team execute a stronger Northeastern alumni community through digital media platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and WordPress to produce eNewsletters and email, maintain the OAR website, marketing campaign websites, alumni online and mobile communities, video and other digital media platforms.

The Program Coordinator, Digital Engagement and Website Development will focus on:

1. Executing OAR and Annual Giving's email strategy, including conceptualizing, segmenting, and scheduling emails to alumni and other constituents in collaboration with all areas of the university as well as reporting on email performance to inform strategy.
2. Executing the OAR website strategy, including developing and maintaining the website, regularly updating stories on the homepage, and providing support for the maintenance of other pages (HTML, CSS and WordPress experience required.
3. Sharing new trends in web design, development and user experience design to support the OAR web strategy.
4. Overseeing backend systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and WordPress, liaising with technical contacts both within and outside the university.
5. Supporting the OAR social strategy, including developing content and executing campaigns, as needed.

The Program Coordinator, Digital Engagement and Website Development must represent the university and the OAR/AG team in a professional and enthusiastic manner with a special focus on both internal and external customer service. As a member of the Advancement division, it is essential for the Program Coordinator, Digital Engagement and Website Development to understand and actively support the role philanthropy plays in engaging the Northeastern community. This position is required to perform their duties, in person, on the Boston campus. Evening and weekend work required as needs dictate. Occasional ground and air travel, and a flexible schedule are required. While the primary role of this position is to focus on marketing and communications, it will also require the Coordinator to assist at several OAR events throughout the year and other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Two to three (2-3) years of experience in web development, email marketing production, digital media or equivalent required. Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, CMS tools such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud. Excellent writing, organizational and interpersonal communications skills required. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus. They also will pay extreme attention to detail. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with alumni, volunteers, students, staff, faculty, vendors and external entities; Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects at a time while still hitting deadlines.
