About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and working as a collaborative member of the Global Launch Services team in the Office of the Chancellor, the Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist will compile, prepare and file all logistical aspects of higher education authorization in connection with the university's current and future national and international educational offerings, as well as support compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:
The Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist will assist in researching, obtaining, and maintaining required higher education licenses, enabling the University to deliver a wide variety of educational activities across diverse jurisdictions. To do so, this position will work in partnership with administrators, academic program managers, faculty, and others to identify and support the authorization and compliance processes prescribed by a variety of higher education agencies, and support the steps required to meet required standards through internal and external communication and the material submissions of any relevant university applications. This individual will assist in identifying the authorization process as prescribed by governmental and regulatory authorities, support the assessment of the university's readiness for authorization in national and international markets, facilitate the steps required to meet regulatory standards, and help to oversee the preparation and communication related to (both internal and external) material submissions and status of submitted applications. This role will also be responsible for querying and compiling the Global Regulatory Affairs team's resources and data used in applications and renewals of consent or required reporting and provide drafting and editing support for high priority documents, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality of unit materials, and enhancing efficiency and organization of the team's processes and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience in a role related to higher education and/or regulatory compliance
  • Strong professional research, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative cross-functional team
