The American College of Financial Servicesthe nations leading accredited institution focused on delivering applied financial knowledge and education is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to join our growing digital marketing team within a dynamic Marketing & Communications department. This team member will work at both the strategic and tactical level to create, execute, and optimize campaigns within The Colleges marketing automation system (ie. HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On, etc).

The Marketing Automation Manager reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and Analytics and works collaboratively with the content and design teams, as well as key department and College stakeholders to help achieve key institutional goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the content and design teams to create and execute marketing automation campaigns (inclusive of dynamic content, list segmentation, landing pages, and forms) Track and analyze campaign performance and regularly perform tests to improve KPIs (such as deliverability, opt-outs, click through rates, and conversion rates) plus empower other team members with prescriptive insights Work across departments to create and optimize lead scoring models and nurture workflows Partner internally to implement a structured A/B testing plan for email, forms, and landing page optimizations Manage the technical integration of the marketing automation platform with CRM (SugarCRM) and any other relevant marketing technology Daily management and upkeep of the marketing automation platform at the operations level, including database management, segmentation, list maintenance, data cleansing, web form capture, integration with CRM, exporting lists from Discovery Data, etc. Embrace ownership of email within the overall marketing funnel, collaborating within the digital team and across the department on how best to contextualize emails role and measure its impact in meeting or exceeding key conversion benchmarks Perform competitive analysis and formulate recommendations that monitor shifting industry trends   Skills and Knowledge Required:

Experience working within and maximizing the capabilities of HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On or other marketing automation software Comfort working with designers to build high-performing landing pages to support marketing automation campaigns In-depth understanding of marketing automation/CRM integration best practices and lead database management Demonstrated experience working with reporting tools, A/B testing and optimization; an aptitude for data analytics and campaign tracking and reporting to inform future decisions Excellent organizational skills to work efficiently, managing projects with many moving parts; strong desire to improve processes A strong commitment to being part of a culture driving transformational change with a start-up mindset, while honoring The Colleges history as the nations oldest institution for financial services education Education/Experience Requirements:

BS/BA degree Six (6) plus years of marketing automation experience Critical thinking skills to effectively seek proactive solutions to challenges as they arise Proficient analytical skills and ability to mesh data and market knowledge to measure and optimize email journeys Basic HTML experience as it relates to email, landing page, and campaign design Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to explain complex, technical topics to internal stakeholders B2B and/or Financial Services experience a plus
