We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the late grade email, and connect with faculty and academic departments in entering grades in a timely manner. Provide verification of educational records. Ensure student accounts are secure and FERPA is upheld. Assist in state report quarterly cleanup and new systems testing and upgrades. Communicate procedure changes districtwide. Work with registrar in producing the academic and master calendars.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the state report quarterly cleanup. Provide information on student’s reportability and accurate data for continuing education (CE) and credit state funding deadlines.
  • Support state initiative of student success by identifying Veterinary Assistant and Law Enforcement completers within the student information system.
  • Maintain functional and technical aspects of Banner components, including admissions applications, registration, online grading, CEU’s, electronic transcripts, and optical scanning.
  • Ensure accuracy of student records by auditing missing course grades, input late grades for CE and credit courses.
  • Work with the associate registrar to test, implement, train, and distribute procedures for new software and system upgrades.
  • Respond to student complaints/admissions problems, identify and document solutions, and refer to supervisor if necessary.
  • Communicate new/changed information to college staff via telephone or email to ensure correct information for students.
  • Maintain confidentiality and archive student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to support CE and credit students and programs which include Corporate College, Human Resources, and the Bursar’s Office.
  • Assist with districtwide graduation activities as needed.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related full-time experience required.

Equivalency Language
An associate degree or two (2) years of completed college coursework and four (4) years of full-time experience in Admissions.
