Essential Job Functions:

The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment, Marketing and Communication will assist in and be responsible for all aspects of the graduate admission digital media, publications and communications strategy. This position will report to the Director of Graduate Enrollment and the Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Plan, create and implement print and digital graduate enrollment materials to drive program interest and event attendance
  2. Provide creativity as a writer and editor for graduate enrollment digital and print marketing campaigns
  3. Create e-mail drip communication campaigns through Lasell's CRM, SLATE based on identified lead generation strategy
  4. Monitor e-mail drip campaign student activity and impressions. Provide outreach to students based on student clicks and activity
  5. Responsible for student recruitment and outreach for the graduate programs
  6. Assist with graduate enrollment events - semester orientations, virtual and in-person open house, information sessions etc.
  7. Research and identify potential student communication lists to drive lead generation
  8. Collaborate with colleagues in digital marketing to develop an integrated, comprehensive communications and recruitment strategy
  9. Track and analyze student conversions through communication interactions
  10. Document, evaluate, and make recommendations for improvements to recruitment, communication, and yield processes
  11. Provide a high level of personalized service to Graduate and Professional Studies inquiries, applicants, and deposits via phone, email, in person and virtually as needed
  12. Ability to translate departmental and university requirements into the development of publications within time and budget constraints. Assess and analyze the effectiveness of communications to determine ROI

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment, Marketing and Communication will assist in and be responsible for all aspects of the admission process including but not limited to:
  1. Provide proactive, thorough and timely information to students about the admission process, financial aid and costs, academic programs, and student experience
  2. Flexibility, dedication, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to learn are expected
  3. Serve as a collaborative member of the admission team
  4. Meet quantitative and qualitative departmental goals for monthly enrollment communication pieces, strategy reports and identified leads based on outreach.
  5. Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedule, travel, special programs, and professional development
  6. Work with current students, staff, faculty, alumni and other stakeholders that support the recruitment of students
  7. Contribute to the overall success of the enrollment program and the university by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

This position will work on campus for 2 days per week and work remotely for 3 days per week.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

Education level: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Master's preferred. A degree in Communications, Marketing, Creative Writing, English, or Journalism is also preferred.

Skills/Requirements of the Job: 3 to 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity within higher education or another related industry/position

Computer skills: Knowledge of Slate by Technolutions (enrollment management software) and MS Professional software packages is preferred. Content creation experience through Canva, Adobe and other technological platforms is required. HTML and coding experience is also preferred.

Workday: Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm. There may be required evening and weekend work during specific times of the year.

CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION OR LICENSURE REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College's insurer's criteria) or a satisfactory driving record.
