Part-Time Instructor of Psychology

Soka University of America (SUA) seeks an instructor to teach Introduction to Psychology (PSYCH 100) during the Spring 2022 term, starting in February 8, 2022. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Psychological Science and preferably experience teaching (ABD candidates in Psychology will be considered). In the Spring semester, the course meets two times a week, is scheduled for T/Th 8:15-9:45 am, and currently in person.

Candidates should demonstrate responsiveness toward and understanding of diverse student backgrounds, especially with regard to socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, culture, ability/disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity and have a willingness to facilitate the university’s mission to develop global citizens.
