Korean Language Lecturer for Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN)
The Asian Studies Program at Vanderbilt University seeks to make a non-tenure-track, full-time appointment in Korean language instruction, teaching a proficiency-based curriculum at all levels of Korean using team-teaching techniques as appropriate. This position will teach the following courses: Elementary Korean: KOR 1101 (two sections), KOR 1102 (two sections); Intermediate Korean: KOR 2201 (two sections), KOR 2202 (two sections); and Advanced Korean: KOR 3301 (one section), KOR 3302 (one section).

Requires a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language, Korean Pedagogy, Korean Studies, Korean Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Education, or a related field.
