Salary for Announcement: The salary range for this position is $101,500 - $169,500. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty and training.  The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary:
The Associate Dean for the College of Business will help shape the direction of the college by participating with the Dean in all phases of strategic and resource planning. The position works closely with the Dean, Department Chairs, Faculty and Staff within the college to help realize the vision, mission, and goals of the college.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Assessment (20%)
Responsible for College of Business Assurance of Learning activities, including but not limited to assuring that assessment data is collected, stored and analyzed (using appropriate technology), as well as used to inform program improvement, and that recommendations for modifications to programs or courses are implemented. Responsible for representing the Dean’s Office on the Assurance of Learning Committee. Responsible for implementation of the CBUS Graduate Programs Committee assessment activities for the MBA, including but not limited to the review of learning outcomes, the development of assessment activities, collection, storage and analysis of data to assure the loop is closed on learning objectives.

Enrollment Management (10%)
Working with department chairs to facilitate scheduling that fits the needs of students. Representing CBUS with the Registrar’s office and other stakeholders related to enrollment management and scheduling. Assuring that the college meets metrics that matter with regard to classroom utilization, section size averages, and overall coordination of effective enrollment management.

Graduate Program responsibilities (35%)
Supervisor for the graduate program staff. Overseeing enrollment management and class scheduling of the MBA that facilitates class scheduling among all departments and assures that course offerings meet the scheduling needs of graduate students. Coordinating efforts for graduate program retention. Working with Media Relations and the Office of Graduate Studies to develop promotional activities to recruit students both in state and out of state to increase enrollments. Working with Classroom to Career Hub to increase services to support employer recruitment of MBA graduates, as well as investigate potential for graduate student internships.

Curriculum Related Activities (10%)
Representing the Dean’s Office on the CBUS Curriculum Committee, CBUS and University Graduate Committees, CBUS Faculty Development Committee, and acting as the CBUS liaison on university related committees. Working with chairs and faculty members to identify new course offerings and new degree options, such as expanding certificate or concentrations, turning concentrations into degrees, and identifying potential new programs. Also included are coordination efforts to enhance the quality of online courses by coordinating with faculty options to leverage technology for increasing video content online, video of on-campus sections for online support, engaging students in learning activities, leveraging options for synchronous online course offerings, and other options that will focus on improving online course retention and student success.

Accreditation (10%)
Working with the Dean to facilitate continued compliance with AACSB standards, prepare necessary data and tables for accreditation reporting, and coordinate efforts of the College of Business Accreditation Task Force in the development of the Continuous Improvement Report, assuring that the college is on track for reaccreditation. Providing assistance, as needed, to assure continued ABET accreditation for the CIS & BA program.

Resources (10%)
Fundraising activities to support the College of Business in general and specifically to support and improve graduate program facilities and infrastructure for the MBA program. Working in consultation with the Dean and Office of Advancement to facilitate and support the College’s opportunities for relationship building and donor appreciation activities.

Program Support (5%)
Developing or suggesting technology enhancements that will leverage new technological developments with the goal to streamline and supplement College of Business activities to improve efficiencies of processes.

Required Qualifications:
• Earned terminal degree appropriate to a discipline in the College of Business.
• A record of achievement in teaching, professional activities, and community service that has resulted in earning tenure at an AACSB accredited institution.
• Evidence of working with diverse groups, including students, faculty, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in organizational leadership and higher education administration through significant service/committee work or administrative assignments.
• Experience with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) accreditation.
• Experience collecting and evaluating data to drive decisions for program efficiency and improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: curriculum, assessment, accreditation, enrollment management.
• Excellent communications skills.
