Job Summary

The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor or Teaching Associate Professor of Economics position. We have identified particular curricular needs in courses related to macroeconomics (e.g. Principles of Macro, Intermediate Macro, Money and Banking), but we encourage applications from any instructor who can complement the existing strengths of current Department members.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

The expected teaching load is six semester courses per year.

The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2022. This position is renewable based on performance, with an initial appointment of up to three years. The Department has a history of welcoming and valuing long-term instructors.

What We Can Offer

The salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank; $65,500 - $75,000 at the Associate Teaching Professor rank. Rank is determined by years of teaching experience.
