Plan and perform a wide variety of masonry work where standard methods are available. Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of masonry equivalent to 1 – 2 years practical trades training or previous work experience is required.

Must have at least 2 years additional practical experience.

A valid driver’s license is required; the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Must provide all his own hand tools including trowels, hawks and floats. Job Specific Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of masonry equivalent to 1 – 2 years practical trades training or previous work experience is required.

Knowledge of plaster finishing and sheetrock finishing preferred Responsibilities
Build and repair masonry work such as walls, floors, walks, smoke tunnel furnaces, boiler settings, etc.

Mix mortar, cement and concrete mix.

Plaster and finish dry wall.

Build and remove forms.

Cut access holes in floors and walls for other trades.

Install common and fire brick, blocks, tile, ceramic tile, stone, slate, marble, cement and lathing material, etc. Physical Requirements Tools/Equipment
Use a variety of power tools including brick saw, concrete saw, power driver, power chipper, jackhammer, trowel machine, masonry drill, etc.
