Position Summary: This position provides professional administrative assistance to the LTC's Office of Learning Resources (OLR) and reports to the Director of the OLR. The position works with the Director of OLR to fulfill a wide range of responsibilities including hiring and supervision of student workers, office management, website updates, logistics support for programs and events, materials creation, and purchasing. This position also provides administrative support to the Director of OLR in managing calendars, appointments, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree or 3 years professional experience
Supervision experience
Demonstrated customer service experience
Excellent written communication skills
Competency using Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated evidence of strong customer service orientation with excellent listening and oral communication skills
Demonstrated experience overseeing workflows
Demonstrated experience in customer reception
Demonstrated experience successfully collaborating, working effectively with a diverse team, and working alone
Demonstrated experience successfully supervising student employees
Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple projects and ability to prioritize
Demonstrated experience successfully managing confidential records
Demonstrated experience with basic web development and management
Demonstrated interest and ability to learn new software applications and keep current with electronic tools
Professional experience in higher education
Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated experience working with persons with disabilities
Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment

Special Instructions to Applicants:

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
