The University of Southern Indiana’s Management and Information
Sciences Department, housed in the Romain College of Business,
invites applications for a full-time, renewable instructor in
Computer Science to begin Fall 2022. The position will teach
Computer Science and Computer Information Systems. The
successful candidate should be able to teach a broad range of
undergraduate courses in computer science such as introductory and
intermediate object-oriented programming in C#, programming
languages, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and
software development. Qualified candidates must have a master’s
degree in computer science, or a closely related field from an
accredited institution. Candidates should have a strong commitment
to teaching undergraduates and must also provide evidence of
professional experience and engagement that reflects significant
interaction with business and management directly related to
information technology or computer sciences. Teaching load is 12
credit hours (4 courses) per semester. To learn more about
