* Master’s degree in education administration, curriculum and instruction, student personnel, or an academic or occupational field; doctorate degree preferred.

* Five (5) years full-time experience in a higher education leadership position including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.

* Teaching experience in higher education. Preferred qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals who possess :
* An earned Doctorate degree

* Leadership Experience in a community college environment

* Experience working with a diverse population

* Demonstrated experience with tactical implementation of a strategic plan

* Demonstrated experience developing and implementing programs that promote student success, retention and persistence

* Demonstrated understanding of higher education issues

* Demonstrated experience using data to inform decision making

* Experience with program and/or instructional assessment

* Experience with accreditation

* Demonstrated experience with enrollment management

* Demonstrated innovative approaches to resource development and management

Class Summary
Administrator position responsible for providing administrative leadership of all instructional and student services functions at the campus.

1. Develop and implement strategic direction for curriculum and student service functions at the campus in alignment with district goals and guidelines
2. Oversee all personnel and program development, assessment, and improvement in areas of academics and student services
3. Develop strategic direction for college readiness programs at the campus in alignment with the district goals and guidelines.
4. Develop strategic direction for professional development at the campus in alignment with district goals and guidelines
5. Provide direction and service to district committees
6. In consultation with the President, responsible for the strategic development of a campus budget
7. Ensure implementation of the campus strategic action plans to ensure alignment with the district strategic plan.
8. Ensure strategic enrollment management of the schedule and other strategies in alignment with district goals and guidelines.
9. Represent the President in the community as needed.
10. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge
