Job Summary:

Under general supervision, provides moderately complex administrative support to an individual, office, department or program. Work requires thorough knowledge of the organization and programs where assigned and involves moderate participation in the work of the supervisor. Incumbents have responsibility for office operations and function independently, where procedures have been established with moderate consequence of error.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate campus ID (Eagle) card system, including the issuance of cards, resolving hardware/software issues, manage photo upload program, knowledge of integrations with other campus systems, database maintenance, reporting, managing carding events for campus programs and remaining abreast of ID systems best practices.
  • Coordinate office and field activities in Parking and Transportation Services, including permit sales and issuance, citation reviews, fleet management and maintenance, and coordinating parking for special events.
  • Process invoices for payment, order supplies, reconcile accounts, and maintain department financial records for Business Services units. May assist with creating routine reports.
  • Screen telephone calls and greet visitors, independently handle routine matters, and escalates non-routine matters to appropriate parties.
  • Assist with events registration and check-in
Required Qualifications

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED .
Experience:
  • Two (2) years experience providing administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
  • General knowledge of and skill in the practical application of generally accepted office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effective both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to proofread and edit written documents.
  • Skill in various computer software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, Internet, and email.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple and continuing assignments with general instructions.
