Responsibilities encompass the coordination of activities involved in the management of the unit or support services. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on attainment of established goals; may be responsible for supervision of all employees assigned to the unit of responsibility.

Major/Essential Functions

Admissions
Oversees the Student Ambassadors for the School of Pharmacy (SOP) Dallas campus
Assists with any virtual interview days
Attends DFW recruiting events when coverage is needed
Main contact for Dallas SOP campus tour requests
Provides Admission’s Assistance
Counsels Applicants
Reviews Applicants
Returns calls & emails to interested candidates and applicants Attends Admission Committee meetings when input is needed
Advising
Assists with Student Success Initiative
Assists with providing curricular options (reduced load, replacement courses)
Provides follow-up for students taking leave of absence or requesting withdrawals
Attends Progression Committee meetings and provides transcript/course data needed for the committee members
Assists with ADA compliance
Assists with Title IX issues
Communicates with the Director of Social Media
Serve as one of the Dallas liaisons to share student/campus information to be considered for social media accounts
Serve as a class Facebook page monitor/administrator
Oversight and accountability
Loaner Laptops for students

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's Degree in a field related to Education, Psychology, Counseling, Higher Education, and Student Success is preferred. Excellence in written and verbal communication is essential. The ideal applicant will possess strong skills in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet manipulation.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related area required plus four years progressively responsible supervisory experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
