Job Summary
The hours for this position would typically be 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Assist in the organization and set-up of events at various locations throughout The Alabama 4-H Center property, performing cleaning services in those facilities.
Essential Functions
Assist in the organization and set-up and break down of events at various 4-H Center locations to include, but not limited to the set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, audio visual equipment and other specialized items. Secure and lock all facilities at end of events.
Performs custodial and/or housekeeping duties at all building facilities to accommodate event guest. Removes trash from event facilities.
Identifies and reports maintenance issues.
Re-Stock supply closets and housekeeping carts at various locations.
Clean and maintain meeting / dining facility floors according to floor type. Clean, tables, chairs, common area restrooms and lobby areas throughout the property.
Operate support machinery to include, but not limited to service vehicles, use of ladders, lift devices and various power and floor maintenance tools.
Operate commercial laundry facilities.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
