Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor

Family Science & Social Work: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses in social work, family science, and/or child life depending upon expertise and department need. Appointment is second semester 2022 and first semester fall 2022.

Required: Doctorate in Family Science or Social Work or closely related field for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor or Master’s degree in Family Science or Social Work or closely related field for appointment as Instructor by date of appointment, January 18, 2022. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be made for candidates with demonstrated commitment to social justice and anti-oppression in teaching and practice; applied professional experience, including but not limited to a minimum of two years practice experience post master’s degree achievement; those holding the designation as a Certified Family Life Educator, Certified Child Life Specialist, or licensed (e.g., LSW, LISW, LISW-S) social worker; and experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses.
