Job Description:
Course Information: Class will be taught utilizing ZOOM
- Introduction to Programming Concepts in C++
- Tue/Thu 2:00 - 4:05 pm
- Tue/Thu 4:30 - 6:35 pm

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in computer science or computer engineering
OR
Bachelor’s in either of the above
AND
Master’s in mathematics, cybernetics, business administration, accounting or engineering
OR
Bachelor’s in engineering
AND
Master’s in cybernetics, engineering, mathematics, or business administration
OR
Bachelor’s in mathematics
AND
Master’s in cybernetics, engineering, mathematics, or business administration
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any of the above
AND
A master’s degree in information science, computer information systems, or information systems
OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area
OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
(NOTE: Courses in the use of computer programs for application to a particular discipline may be classified for minimum qualifications purposes, under the discipline of the application.)

Desirable Qualifications:
Demonstrated fluency in C++ and Linux software development.
Experience teaching in the remote environment .
Detailed experience teaching computer science courses, especially introductory classes, with innovative teaching practices supporting success and retention of historically underrepresented groups.
